From the February Peak Newsletter: “OUR DEEPEST FEAR”
Most people are not trained to see past their struggles. We tend to attribute most fears to failure, but some failures can also be attached to success. The following is inspired by Marianne Williamson:
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate in some facet of our lives. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light not our darkness that most scares us. We often think to ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?! Actually, who are you not to be?! Your playing small does not serve the world or yourself. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that others won’t feel insecure around you.
We are meant to shine! We were born to manifest the the goodness within us! It is not just in some of us, it is within us all! As we give ourselves permission to let our light shine, we unconsciously give other people the permission to do the same. As we feel our own fear, acknowledge it, and move on, our presence automatically liberates others.
