Pilates Training
Pilates, the results everyone is talking about.
What is it?
The Pilates method of body conditioning is a unique system of strengthening and stretching exercises developed over ninety years ago by Joseph H. Pilates.
How is it done?
Working the “powerhouse”, the deeper muscles of the torso, achieves efficient and graceful movement, improves alignment and breathing, and increases body awareness.
What will it do?
Regular practice of Pilates will balance your body, build strong lean muscles, and improve your posture, concentration, flexibility, efficiency of movement, and mobility. Expect to feel taller, lighter and revitalized after each Pilates class or private equipment session.
Pilates Private Sessions
Joseph Pilates originally designed three specialized pieces of equipment to aid him in the personal training:
-
The Cadillac
-
The Reformer
-
The Wunda Chair
The exercises on the equipment; deliver simultaneous stretching and strengthening in a non-impact balanced system of body/mind exercise.
Pilates Mat Classes
Pilates Mat is done primarily on the floor with little equipment, either on your back or stomach with some movements in a seated or standing position.
Pilates Principles

to follow.
